Reebok Classic Remix Collection

This spring Reebok will release a new collection of classic footwear styles which has been updated to create the Classic Remix collection. Key retro elements of the past and streamline detailing of the present combine a 'then and now' look at Reebok's history. The Classic Remix collection will be available exclusively at Foot Locker stores.

In celebration of this new collection, Reebok is partnering with some of today's top emerging hip-hop artists. Each will re-interpret an original influential song from the 80's to be distributed exclusively with the Classic Remix collection.

Kidz In The Hall (Major League/Duck Down Music) will be the first group in the series to re-interpret the classic song, "I Got It Made" by Special Ed. The new track will be available for download to customers who purchase footwear from the Classic Remix collection at Foot Locker stores starting March 10th, 2009.

Reebok will offer new styles and color ways from the collection throughout the year, each featuring a new artist and re-interpreted track. Next in the series will be Kid Sister, followed by B.o.B.

Well, ruffle my bootie!

So, last night, after UAB had their sorry asses handed to them by my Memphis Tigers, I just knew that my dreams where going to be filled with vivid replays of them winning! WRONG! All I could think about where these yellow/mustard ruffle infused L.A.M.B booties. I used them in a look over at E-Stylist and ever since then, they have become a staple in my mind. Despite just moving to a new place and still needing to find and buy a new sofa worth my booty, I was seriously contemplating getting use to a bare living room so I could buy these booties! However, after a conversation with my boyfriend, a new sofa trumps a new pair of booties or in his word "Booty beats booties". However, I'm still trying to find a way to get them both. Let me think while you oogle at them!

Swooning For...Nashelle Found Earrings

I love jewelry, as you loyal readers know! I swoon for gold, chunky rings and bracelets, dainty necklaces and charms, and hoop earrings damn big enough to pull over my head. However, as of recently, I have been having a small, but budding affair of fawning over jewelry that is accented with wood. Nothing too chunky and "folksy", but dainty and chic. Well, these earrings by Nashelle might as well be called the "Samida circa Feb-March 2009" earrings, because they are everything my ears and I have been craving!

These earrings are part of Nashelle's "Found" collection which features small accents of wood on all the pieces. I love the other pieces in the collection, but these earrings are just this cat's meow! From the large gold hoop, to the circular wood accent, to the small gem stone, these earrings have just earned a starring role in my dreams!

A HA! I FOUND ONE!

I swear, I have been looking for a flat bag that works well with  business attire and function that looks chic and simple, while having enough room to hold a laptop, planner, and other business basic. However, at the same time looks like it can easily blend in with a casual look. I think I have found that bag in Magnes Sisters Gallery Tote.

You can carry it by its handles or sling it over your shoulders! Its available in basic black, classic burgundy, and versatile yam. I'm itching for the yam one!

Sale Item of the Day...Boxfresh One Shoulder Dress

Spring is quickly approaching! So, I am in dress mode hardcore and I'm not a dress person. However, I saw this Boxfresh dress and loved the gingham print, crinkle bubble hem, and one shoulder loveliness. Its not right for my curvalicious body type, but it's look and price tag of $60 (reg. $120) is definitely worth spreading the news! Go get one!

Supra's Burgundy Collection

Once again, Supra has snatch a piece of my heart! This time they ahve done it with their Burgundy Collection that consists of three of their most popular non-skateboard styles; Skytop, Strapped, and Trinity.

The shoes don shiny burgundy patent leather on an icy white sole and black laces. These are definitely worth scoring! Currently available at Factory 413 and other Supra dealers.

I'm feeling 'springy'...

and these Sahara sandals by Sam Edelman. The high today is suppose to be a windy 70 degrees. So, no wonder I am in the mood for sandals! Oh, they are so fab for transitioning into spring, because of the brown leather strappiness.

Every year, I look for a pair of transitional sandals that can quietly and chicly bring my clothes from winter to spring and summer to fall and by George, I think I have found my "tranny" sandals!

Tee Time...Love To Death Tee

If I had to design a tee that contained a list of things that I love to death, it would have some of the same things that Hellz Bellz' Love To Death tee does, especially that Chanel. So, needless to say that this tee had to be a Tee Time contender!

Review: Pur Minerals Pore Minimizer

So, for the past couple of weeks, I have been on the hunt for a good pore refiner to tackle what I hate the most about my skin: Large pores.

The first pore refiner that I took on was Pur Minerals See No More Pore Minimizer. Usually, pore refiners tend to leave your skin feeling tight and dry, but not this one. As soon as I applied the creamy serum to my skin, it was cool and soothing. Plus, it almost immediately shrinked my pores and that was just the beginnning!

After I let it dry, I applied my make-up and would you believe that the serum also control my shiny spots and helped my make-up give a smooth silky looking texture. I just love products that do more than just what their name tells you!

So, if you are looking for a fab and affordable pore refiner that minimizes medium to larger pores, then you should definitely try Pur Minerals See No More Pore Minimizer.

Topshop's Memphis collection: Just all the way WRONG!

My morning has been Craz-aaayyyy!! Stressful and soothing and its just 10 a.m! As usual, to knock some stess off my heart and mind, I did a little online window shopping. One of my first stops was Topshop. I love them and their cute, chic, and affordable clothes. So, needless to say that when I saw that they had a collection called Memphis, which is where I was born and raised, I was stoked. Well, after taking a look, I was completed outraged that this what their fashion interpretation of Memphis.

This looks like a stereotypical image of the New Mexico/Texas area, not Memphis! Don't get me wrong, some of the items are cute, but not a reflection of the fashion of Memphis. Here is how they described the collection:

"Take a trip to Memphis - America's Deep South - as splatter bleached denim, feather print tunics and slashed tees are infused with ethnic nuances. Pale jeans and oversized dresses are given a hand crafted feel with Mexican style embroidered trims, while cowboy shirts are strewn with stud work. With a nod to Rodeo styling, cropped jackets appear in lilac and marine-blue suede and shrunken waistcoats are adorned with folkloric prints. Leather satchels, studded heels and boots with tasselled laces finish off the Memphis look."

Ummm....No. If I see some splatter print denim, i'm going off.

Depending on what part of the city you live depends on the fashion sense. If you live in East Memphis/Germantown/Cordova, you will see an American Eagle/Hollister/ trendy look. In Whitehaven/South Memphis/North Memphis its very hood fab! Basically, like with every major big city, Memphis is a melting pot of style, but this Topshop collection is way off! Do your researching next time, Topshop! I'm so disappointed!

V-Day Want...Soho Hearts Bear Necklace

The one thing I hate about Valentine's Day is that it tends to sneak up on me. I assume that's because its in the middle of the month oppose to end like most holidays. Either way, I am always late with picking something to want for and find for my honey du jour.

Right now, I am fawning hardcore over these little bear necklaces by Soho Hearts! So freaking adorable! I love them all, but my heart skipped a couple of extra beats for the the limited edition disco bear, the gold pink heart, and the panda (I have a thing for pandas! I'll tell ya later!)

I am swooning hardcore over these bears and hopefully my new significant other will get the hint I threw at him via email for the panda one! Keeping my fingers crossed!

  • A. SOHO Hearts Handcuff Earrings- I just love them! They are cute, but edgy.
