Right now, as I type, I have a brand new laptop on a UPS truck riding to my mom's house where my little sister better be up to answer the door. I need to track it, just to make sure I see those lovely words "Out for Delivery".

I would be doing some serious hardcore flips of excitement when I am gifted with this gold-plated Wii! There aren't enough exclamation points and capped letters to translate how dope of a gift it is!!!!

So, last month my friend and I decided that come this October, we where gonna participate in The Cure for Cancer race here in Memphis. Personally, I have always wanted to do it, but other obstacles prevented me from doing so. Well, we are friends, so I can tell you that those obstacles were usually laziness which brought on out of shape, which ultimately lead me to dwell about how crappy I am for not joining in.
Fortunately, I have never had to experience breast cancer personally or anyone in my close circle of friends and family. However, as I woman, breast cancer research always is at the top of my list of foundations that I support. Foundations like Susan G. Komen is a leader in breast cancer research. If you follow me on Twitter, then you know that my foot suffered a loss recently in the form of half of my right big toenail. Its too hideous to show you, because you would have to see a before pic to understand the magnitude of this horrible event! Also, my hair is in pretty good condition, but I am getting it dyed this weekend, which means its gonna take small tumble down the strength scale and completely off the natural scale, depending on which beautician you ask. My skin on the other hand is always up for grabs! One day its nice and smooth and my pores are hiding and then there are days when there is a blemish/large pores/blackheads party going on strong for a couple of days!
Either way, I was very amped to add this supplement to my daily time schedule when I take my multi-vitamin.
FINAL RESULT: I have to say that these supplements really helped in the improvement of the overall strenght of my hair and nails. They are much stronger and my hair has been growing like a wildfire! Sheesh. However, I haven't really seen anything drastic change over my skin, but I don't blame it. The code for clear and beautiful skin for me is a hard one to crack. I have only had moderate success at it myself. So, I can't fault the pills for not coming through on that end.
I give these pills a semi-high rating because they did improve on 2 of the 3 things they said they would and helped me eliminate the 3-4 different supplements I use to take to achieve healthy hair and nails.

Despite these bouts of rain my fellow Memphians and I have been enduring, our weekends are filling up with different festivals of food and music, which are hard to enjoy trying to hold and/or watch your purse. Tribal and ethnic prints are this year's bohemian! I have been dabbling with this trend, but have had a hard time finding a bag to add to the fun. However, I think that I have found a bag worthy enough of my taste and wallets strength or should I say weakness!
Anyway, I spotted this aztec print bag by Melie Bianco at Lulu's for only $60!! Its roomy and eye-catching without being too bright and bold. Thanks to the details, the bag looks luxe without having to drop some major bucks! I want it!

Yesterday, I saw a picture of Halle Berry carrying this adorable thing on her hip and it wasn't her precious little daughter Nahla. This adorable thing was a hobo style bag that looked like it was caught in a zipper factory explosion and ended up being this haute piece of edgy fabness! Apparently, the bag is by J.J. Winters Leather Zipper bag and won't be available to us commoners until July! Also, socialite/designer Nicky Hilton got her paws on one. This weekend, socialite Kim Kardashian attended Kentucky Derby events wearing a piece from Nicole Richie's jewelry line, House Harlow 1960. Kim Kardashain wore the Black Resin Triangle Necklace, which has become one of the iconic pieces from the line.
After spending the past couple of days feeling incomplete, I say I am about 90% closer to being insync with all the technology in my life. One thing that eliminates stress in my life is the abundance of shows and movies I have saved on my DVR! One show that is currently taking up 19% ( I checked) is Will and Grace!
I jumped on the Will and Grace bandwagon late in their 8 year run. However, some of my fav episodes that are currently clogging up my DVR are included in these two DVD sets that are coming out this Tuesday!
The Best of Love and Marriage set includes some of the most memorable love happenings and mishaps. The next set, which will probably be my favorite features all the incredible guest stars that had over the years, which happened to be some of my favorites! It included Jennifer Lopez when she guest starred as herself and performed at Karen's wedding, Matt Damon, Britney Spears, and Madonna in a really funny role!
