Giuseppe Zanotti Stitched Western Bootie

We are just making it to the half-way mark of summer and the heat is now where near over! However, designers are starting to release their fall and winter collection, which just makes me anxious for cool weather to blow through. Giuseppe Zanotti's stitched Western ankle boot just intensified that anxiety!

If this Giuseppe Zanotti's interpretation of "western", then that's one ranch I wouldn't mind visiting. Taupe with wavy dark stitching makes it go with almost anything in your closet! Well, done Giuseppe, well done.

Ame & Lulu

For the past month or so, my bf and I have been talking about going to play a few rounds of golf and test out of virginal tennis waters. However, the heat index convinced us to wait awhile. Well, now that the weather is cooling a smidge from death-provoking heatwave to plain ol' hot, we have decided that we are getting closer to playing some golf and tennis in the upcoming weeks.

However, I might have to hold off until I have the proper gear to partake in those extra curricular activities and when I say "proper" gear, I actually mean cute gear! Luckily, I just stumpled upon a line of cute and fabulous accessories for an active lifestyle in the form of Ame & Lulu!

Ame & Lulu was the brainchild of Amye Kurson, who saw the lack of trendy and sophisticated ladies golf accessories and decided to fill in that void with fun, stylish, and durable accessories for golf, tennis, and yoga! Ame & Lulu also offers a junior collection and an everyday collection that features duffel bags, totes, and other accessories.

The line consists of various colorful and eye-catching prints that flow throughout the entire line, which allows you to match the print of your bag to the accessories or dare to be different and switch up prints! Either way, I am definitely hooked!

While I am trying to decide which sport I want to test out first, tennis or golf, I think I'm gonna grab Kimono Cosmetic Case! Oooh, you can get them embroidered!

I'm defintitely bookmarking this site!

Swooning for...Kevia's Flower Ring

A good friend of mine asked me to find a cute little ring to give her daughter has a gift. Her personally little mini-me is testing out the jewelry water and she wanted something that was age appropriate for a 11 year old, but she could easily wear forever and whenever. Also, something not too popular. She doesn't like it when she someone wearing the same thing as her. So, obviously, she wants the same for her mini-me!

So, after doing a brief look through some of my favorite small, but fabulous jewelry sites, I instantly knew that this plum blossom ring by Kevia was muy perfecto! Isn't it adorable, but chic at the same time?!

Its 22kt gold vermeil  and can worn solo in charming way or bold by stacking it with other finger pieces! Personally, at $20, I', think about scoring one for my pinkie! I've been wanting to find a cute little ring for pinkie finger and I think I found one for me and my friend's daughter!

BTW, check out Kevia's new updated online store for other fab and unque pieces for young, old, and in between!

Rebecca Minkoff Daring Hobo

I have just been too busy to barely breathe these past couple of days! I came to the office yesterday and today with a desk full of projects to juggle. Then last night, or should I say this morning, I woke up super early to the sound of thunder threatening me and my sleep pattern. Unfortunately, the thunder won and I have been up since a quarter after 5am and probably the same can be said from the people in my neighborhood.

However, the day is looking up despite the grey clouds hovering outside my office window. I finally grew a pair and asked my boss for a raise. He said "of course"! So, as usual, when I get a raise or promotion, I treat myself to a little reward for all my hardwork.

Well, there are few things I am thinking about rewarding myself with and one of the things on that lists includes this Rebecca Minkoff Darling Hobo. Last month, I finally got her neon pink clutch which I haven't seen since my little sis noticed it matched her summery hot pink nail polish to a tee! However, this hobo is more for the fall and will transition beautifully into any fall wardrobe!

I'm just loving the deep burgundy leather with shiny brass accents and the tassels and wrap around zipper just seal this for me! I'm leaning toward this bag the more I describe it! We'll see!

Bath and Body Works True Blue Morocco

If you follow me on Twitter, then you probably remember me mentioning last week about this collection Mo-rocking my world! I would like to apologize for the corniness you have to observe with those three words. However, back to Morocco!

One of the placest I plan to go in my lifetime is Morocco. I've always wanted to go, but after sampling a some of the products from Bath and Body Works True Blue Morocco Collection has intensified my desire.

The thing about the collection is that the body washes are the foundation to the overall scents. There are three different body washes in the collection: Saffron and Fig, Rose Petal and Orange Flower, and Moroccan Tea and Cucumber. I tried the Saffron and Fig and the Moraccan Tea and Cucumber. Both scents are very soft, but vibrant. I've personally grown a fondness of the Moraccan tea and Cucumber, because it has such a clean, but noticable aroma that is intoxicating! I wish there was a lotion in this scent.

Although each body wash doesn't have a matching a body lotion, the collection does offer two scented body lotions that compliment each body wash. I tried the Honey and Date Body Yoghurt and everything from the smell to the way it melts into your skin is yummy! It smells like a basket of baked goodies and you smell like that the entire day, which is great after a long day at work. I haven't smelled the Sweet Fig and Argan body lotion, but its definitely on my to-do list my next visit Bath and Body!

Another item I have to try from the collection is the Cedar Wood and Warming Spice Body Scrub. After reading about it, I just have to try it! It warms the skin while exfoliating? Oh, yeah, I definitely have to give that a try!

RocaWear x Mattel Dolls

The first look at RocaWear and Mattel's barbie collabo hit the net last night and it looks like they might become a hit. RocaWear and Mattel teamed up to make a special collection of dolls to celebrate Rocawear's 10th anniversary. The dolls are all decked out from head to toe in RocaWear gear.

I'm not sure what the official release date is for the dolls, but I'm sure it will be in time for the Christmas shopping rush!

Trend Watch: Mixed Media Necklace

This is one trend that I have been following like crazy...mixed media necklaces. Mixed media necklaces are necklaces that combine various styles of necklaces into one awesome piece. The combination of strands of pearls with chunky gold chains and enamel pieces are just one of the combinations that have been seen on some necks, such as Sandra Bullock at her premiere of her latest movie "The Proposal".

Another great thing about mixed media necklaces is that they be super short and thick or long and delicate like the medium to small stands of pearls and silver chains singer Ciara wore to the premiere of the latest Transformer movie.

Personally, I like all the variations. Right now, I am wearing one that I got from Urban Outfitters a couple of months ago and I just love it like a fat kid loves cake!

I've include a couple of mixed media chains below to stimulate your mind and jewelry wardrobe!

A. Juicy Couture Cameo Necklace, $128, Nordstrom; B. Urban Renewal Chain Necklace, $38, Urban Outfitters; C. Urban Renewal Mixed Pearl and Chain Necklace, $32, Urban Outfitters; D. Victorian Hippie Dark Pearl Chain Necklace, $160, ShopBop; E. Fallon Jewelry Slater Mixed Chocker, $176, ShopBop

Nitoinimoi Bandage Bootie

You know what? I just realized that I don't want much in my life, except a roof over my head and happiness. I have a roof over my head and I've been really happy and blessed over the past few months. Seriously, in the recession, if you have a job and aren't just struggling to keep a roof over your head and food in your belly, you should be pretty content.

However, these Nitoinimoi Bandage Booties by Louboutinwould provide me with so much happiness that I may rip a muscle in my face from smiling so much! Unfortunately, at that price, my happiness would cost me my roof over my head and I would be back at my mom's house and that is a serious no-no! So, these Louboutins don't work with my life equation! Louboutins + Happiness - $1,195 = No Rent and electricity. No way!

I guess its back to dreaming!

Tres Sleek

For awhile now, I have been wanting to find a new slimmer that compresses the curves that I can't but want to control, but in a lightweight material. Lightweight, because it is too hot to need some heavy material smoothing and sweating your curves.

Well, I think I have found one in the form of Tres Sleek's Shrinx™. I am pretty confident, because before it was Tres Sleek, they were called FlabuLess and made these incredible shapewear for your arms that are in-cred-i-ble! So, I'm pretty sure that their Shrinx will be just fab! Here's the rundown on Shrinx:

  • Lightweight and compressive nylon/spandex blend
  • Smoothes from underneath breast to upper thigh
  • Eliminates back bulge
  • No ill fitting bra shelf to deal with
  • No clasps or painful hooks
  • Wear under tops, dresses, pants, and skirts

Sounds muy perfecto!

While I'm there, I might as well try their BRAdigy Camisole. The BRAdigy cami is a line of camis that smooths out problem areas with comfort. Another plus about these camisoles is that they come in sizes XS-3X! BRAdigy Camis for all!
