5 cups of coffee and a fresh month of post space is just what I needed to bring you all the fashion that I can find and stomach from NY Fall 2008 Fashion Week. Why not start off with one of my fav lines...BCBG Max Azria.

The main thing to have this Fall and Winter, according to the Book of BCBG Max Azria, is to spend your day "waisted". Belts, simple, yet chic, were cinched on every single look that galloped down the runway. All stuck to the same style of medium two-toned, but also stayed with the main color scheme of soft shades of brown, black, and cream nuetrals.

Although the colors used are more associated with frumpy wear, these shapes were on the flirty and sophisticated level thanks to the mixture of feminine fabrics with well structured pieces. What every girl needs to learn to master is mixing fabrics...just my opinion!

Where's the color?! There was minimal color in this collection. There a few speck of color here and there, but it was barely noticeable. I'll tell you this much, there was even less color on the models. Were was the diversity?! I mean, seriously, some of those cream and brown pieces would have looked incredible on a brown/black model! Disappointing.
