Clinique's Nude Blush Sping 2008

Monday, as I was taking a pleasant stroll through Macy's to the Clinique counter to pick up a new compact of City Base Compact Foundation in Almond Beige, I couldn't help but to be intriqued by Clinique's Spring 2008 collection called Nude Blush.

I love nude colors when I want to look natural and almost make-up free and blush colors when I want to look natural, but flirty. So, I assumed the idea that the line would mix those two for me had me practically climbing to get up in that white and sterilized looking chair at the Clinique counter to get a test drive of the collections.

I got the whole Nude Blush experience which epitomized what I love to look like in the spring; fresh, flirty, and natural. My favorite product that the pleasant counter chick used from the collection was the Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick in Deep Bloom. If you have tried Colour Surge Butter Shine Lipstick, then you already know how suppple it feels and looks on your lips, but the Deep Bloom is a deep pink with hints of soft pinks that adds a "bitten" hue to your lips. Naturally chic. Think Rachel Bilson in all her natural and classic candids! Yes, ladies! Loved it. Bought it. Wearing it.

The other thing that had me doing some quick and fuzzy math in my head to see if I had enough to buy it was the Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Limited Bare Pinks. The Limited Bare Nudes looked more my love in the compact, but they completely washed out and disappeared on my complexion. I will admit that I was a little hesitant about the deep pink of one of the Bare Pinks blush, but once on my face I knew I was in love and confident that I found my sping staple blush. It was soft and feminine and epitomized my spring look! It even sounds funny to type, but it gave me the glow of just being slapped. Think girl fight, but without all the scratching and hair pulling. Make-up, not war!

Stay Stylish!
