Cork Covered Shoes: The New Nude?

Everyone woman should have by now at least one cork heel shoe, be it kitten, high, or wedge heel. Last year, the nude pump was added to the "Must-have" shoes list. So, everyone scooped a pair. I have two pair; one flat and one high. Although a nude pump will probably never go out of style again, one trend that is bound to cut into its glory this spring and summer is the array of cork covered shoes.

Shoes with not only cork heels, but cork uppers have been popping up in some of your favorite shoe shopping dwellings. You have to admit that its a nice addition to the season and its probably one of the most nuetral shoes you can have in your closet. Depending on the style, you will be able to wear a pair from the weekend to the work week and from the office to the after hours. Below are some very worth-while cork shoes that you might want to look into adding to your spring and summer looks!

A. Christian Louboutin Africa Queen Cork Sandal, $775, Saks; B. Donald J Pliner 'Naiya' Sandal, $290, Nordstrom; C. Maison Martin Margiela Cork Pump, $545, eLuxury; D. Marc by Marc Jacobs Cork Ballet Flats, $270, Saks; E. Stuart Weitzman Cork Open Toe Pump, $285, Saks

If the 'real deal' shoes above are too much of a pull on you purse string, then Payless as a cork print shoe for under 20 bucks! So, everyone can afford to try this trend out.

Stay Stylish!
