When I was in the third grade, my friends Angela, Natalie, and I would get the biggest thrill and fun drawing different outfits. Although I loved to draw those fingerless women in cute and fab clothes, I truly enjoyed drawing different shoes and heels. I loved it so much that I seriously thought that I was going to be a shoe designer. Hmm, maybe that is where my addiction to shoes started?

Anyway, Footwear News and Nine West, in association with New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology, are putting seven promising designers to the test in the first Shoe Star contest. The constentants have a wonderful chance to work on '09 Nine West collection. I have posted the first episode below!
