Retro. Urban. Glam. Baby. Phat. Fall. Winter. 2008.

Baby Phat was very subdued, compared to past shows and of course the personality of its creative director, Ms. Fabulosity herself, Kimora Simmons. The collection was filled with mostly black and white pieces in a number of prints(houndstooth and pinstripes) and pieces.

Deep yellow aka mustard and a soft yellow paired with black were strutted down the runway in styles very reminiscent of a scene from The Great Gatsby or any movie involving the 1930s and 1940s.

The guys collection wasn't that bad either, despite some piece being a little too costumey. However, very distinguish looking, but not too old.

I actually enjoyeed most of the pieces from the Baby Phat/KLS collection and really appreciated that Kimora & Co. calmed down with "bling" that they are known to throw on their clothes.
